Nascent Star
Dark nebulae obscure upon reflection survey
Yon silver street, the silken firmament to portend
The night watchers rapture, through prodigious light display,
Eternal errand to the milky cradle of fortuna blend.

Luminary arbiter measure Midas, reveal
And beget the grain to endow the vital course:
Sprung progeny from dust and gas, like the wheel
To fortune bound, emollient of stellar source

Wrapped in nights pearls, naked accrete of thirsty fate
Dissimilate the cloud for high or low birth?
Give bounty dust this teeming dote and create
The sum of noble marrow, eternal worth!

Centuries sprung from obscurity to conquer
All within my fixed time? As Chamaeleon shroud
All common origin traced by kin interlace, concur
Astral lone to body gone, by scattered light avowed,

And so through the ages I suppliant evolve,
From bonded yolk in hope the borrowed path
Will weight the bliss I seek, uncanny time, love
And hope in momentum raves for stellar epitaph,

Steadfast to the core prodigal dust return,
Dissolve, create, destroy the sphere as needs must,
To the night trail track my dust to the silver urn,
Distinction to extinction my envelope of dust.

Poem to celebrate St Georges Day!

Poem to celebrate St Georges Day!

A worthy of Christian love and worship

Attar of Roses imbue the air, augur on seraphs gallant wing,

The arrival of an archetypal saint, anoint

Emblazoned bleeding cross of truth: standard parchemin

Winnowing…………….Lambs kin

Suffused and glorious bedecked

Testimony of salvation

On a Stallion, bestride the stars.

Gods breast plate preserves and protects the blest

From poison, crushing and molten fother imprest,

Waxen wounds healing abound, Christs compassion;

………Caressed in the clouds

Betwixt dusk and dawn enshroud

In Heavens sublime sanctifying unction.

Prostrate George

…God doth he laud trust and pray:

‘My nerve sustain, the dragon is slain’

Apostates assembly, fash fare and fie!

……….Astounded be.

The path of righteousness, hewn through his will, behoven

Forsakes not Christ for his own life, avowedly

In his cause to die, martyrdom betoken:

Beheaded he lie, the estate of heaven reclaimed

England’s Saint published and for aye famed.

Chaucerian roundel poem….. Daffodils

521681_495275033865045_75757730_n

Aswooning the yellow hue of the daffodil debut
In the hallowed niche of Penrhos grove, bestrewn
The trail, always evergreen and wildly overgrown

The book of nature turns its page: aspring awoo!
All the birds throng in the canopy in mesmeric tune
Aswooning the yellow hue of the daffodil debut!

Spellbound the fierce splendour, light imbues
Familiar boughs: squibs of the rainbow festoon;
Inspirit the air and all who come to commune
Aswooning the yellow hue of the daffodil debut!

St Andrews Buckland Yew

St Andrews Buckland Yew

St Andrews Buckland Yew

The great yews council of tenants
Where roots divide the depths
Of every generation, a triumphant

Bed that binds mans footprint
In the pastures of time, divining
Heritage by generations that rent

Pockets of time from Gods acre, dividing
Roots that scribe through the terra,
As moving armies through the earth

Creating history within their flanks, era
Upon era mortality serves to clothe the reign
And swell the clod above and fear a

Prison below; the dark faithless abode
Of the Hecate dead, where death and rebirth
Are embodied in the yews heavy ode:

Dryad totem branch that lies next to death
And carries the spirit through the open door
Where earth primordial wraps the girth,

The great trunk thickens evermore,
Like the ever expanding universe,
Where dark conceives the light to fill the core.

Easter Haiku

Easter Haiku

The eterne Godhead
Three parts in soul, clay, heart bind
Living manna Christ

Still waters his tears
Deluge replete in dotage
Harbour of refuge

God and clod mingle
Soul, blood and sin are bought
Clay fears death no more

St Davids Day Poem – Dydd Gŵyl Dewi

St David

Happy St David’s Day

St David
Regale David! Unveiled design: awed,
Ubiquitous influence don: Christendom
Dewi Sant, Gods holy one of the Brythons:
Destined diocese avowed. …

In the clod of Cymry, Llanddewi brefi
The root of David’s discourse doth applaud
The Lords augury from the highest altar, stand
A hill risen doth christen the spot of the ‘waterman’
Dewi Dyfyrwr, with dove adorned and be laud.

Diver leagues of sovereign seas, kindled streams
Springs, fountains and floods infused,
All his parts; that form his influence;
Common themes, omnipresence
of God doth guide the whole, appulsed!

Dignitary of Christ sovereignty
A Celestial ministry beckoning in Albion
The visible ecclesi arch betwixt the polis of heaven
Augur augment men; leaven
Spring- sacrum of Saintdom.

Valentine Kiss

Oh! How love doth bay,
As moonlight strums the dawns ray,
In glory he doth glide,
The mackerel chased skies;
Winged feet in stride,
He flies, he flies
In mist we’ll sift:
To loves harmonic rift.
With the angels and the euphoric euphonic:
The prelude to throbbing love: their dower.
Indomitable spirits affray in the mating winds:
A force not to rescind,
Radiant in the shafts of heavens’ hues
They blaze and bask in divine dues
Engraved fates adorn heavens gates:
Ordained by God: a fixed mandate
Lips that lock in bliss:
Oh! Taste that immortal kiss!
Mealed vapours in tryst;
Seamless souls ride the erotic wave:
Tempestuous horizons, they brave

Sovereign Drift

The ways of nature to augment
The greater triumph of ascent
Radiates a vast conception: chaos
By primordial arrow tipped in Logos,
Mix a kernel of mans fate infinite date?
………..
A wayfarers heart seeks a remote flame
Another man builds a preposterous claim
And weaves through the ruins the original curse:
Prospects rise by the profligate purse
And reclaims eternal clay for pay,

Robin Red Breast

Photo taken in Penrhos Nature Reserve on Fridays Snow filled day.

Robin Red Breast
The robin blessed by Christ, communicate
The steadfast that plucked the pain
From the Holy brow, an honoured breastplate;

A crimson flush, from cruel crown, dissipate
The Saviours blood to the bearers reign,
The robin blessed by Christ, communicate

A faithful servant among the masses to proliferate
The adornment of a most sacred gain,
From the Holy brow, an honoured breastplate

A chorus in nature to emanate
The message of the saviours’ pain,
The robin blessed by Christ communicate:

A glorious passion for Almighty fate,
Amongst his flock to maintain
From the holy brow, an honoured breastplate

For all creatures to congregate
Throughout the plains Gods’ terrain,
The robin blessed by Christ, communicate
From the Holy brow, an honoured breastplate.
